Credit Limit Decrease and Cancellation

Please note: We prefer you to lodge your request using Internet Banking. Your identity will be authenticated when you log in. Hence we can then process your request quicker.

Using this form will require us to contact you to authenticate your identity before processing your request.

Please note that your request to cancel your credit card will not be processed and completed until:

  • you have waited for 30 days to allow any outstanding transactions and interest (if any) to be debited to your card account; and
  • you have paid and cleared the entire unpaid balance of your credit card account.

Note: Once your credit card is cancelled, your credit card contract will be terminated, your credit card cannot be used again. If you require a credit card at a later date, you will be required to complete a new credit card application and be asked to supply supporting documents as part of the assessment process.

Using this form will require us to contact you to authenticate your identity before processing your request. We will contact you within 1 business day of receiving this request.

Please note that your request for credit limit decrease will not be processed and completed if your current unpaid balance of your credit card account is higher then the credit limit you requested. We may require payment from you to reduce your unpaid balance to or below the credit limit you requested.

If the unpaid balance of your credit card account is equal to or less than the requested new credit limit than your request will be processed within 2 business days of us receiving this request. We will give you a letter within 30 days confirming your new credit limit.

Note: If you want to increase your credit limit at a later date, you will be required to complete a new increased credit card limit application and be asked to supply supporting documents as part of the assessment process.

This form is for current Visa Credit Card holders only. Please be advised that once a credit card facility is closed, it can't be re-activated. To obtain a new credit card facility, a new application will need to be completed and is subject to the current credit criteria and credit approval process.
