Looking for a simple and convenient way to transfer money online? Here’s how to pay for that something special without the stress!

We understand that some occasions like your dream wedding or perfect holiday escape may require you to pay some larger bills online. Did you know that through our Internet Banking service and Mobile Banking App, you can request a temporary increase limit to your external online transfer amount if you need to move more money.

How do I request an increase to my transfer limit via my Mobile Banking App?
Simply log into the Mobile Banking App and do the following:

  • Tap on 'Inbox' (envelope icon) in the top right corner.
  • Tap 'New'. This will open a new secure message.
  • In the 'Subject' field, type. e.g.. 'Increase Limit'.
  • Tap on 'Select a Category' and select 'Limit increase'.
  • Tap on 'Relates to' box and select the account you wish to have the limit increase on.
  • In the 'Message' field, type limit instruction e.g. 'Raise S1 to $25,000'.
  • Tap 'Send'.

Once your message has been sent, one of our friendly Members Service Officers will contact you within the next business day to discuss and verify your request. Please note that our team will conduct an identity check to make sure we are looking after you and your funds.

Can I do this via Internet Banking too?
Yes! Simply log on to your Internet Banking and click the Inbox icon. Follow the same steps as you would via the Mobile Banking App, and our team will be in touch!

Why are there limits on how much money I can transfer?
To help protect your funds from fraud, we set a safety limit on how much money you can send from your account each day. You can view our transaction limits here: www.australianmutual.bank/reusable-documents/disclosure-documents/fees-charges-and-transaction-limits
