This week, Australian Mutual Bank proudly celebrated the official reopening of our Penrith branch at its brand-new location!

The event began with our Chief Member Experience Officer, Mark Vespa welcoming guests, sharing insights about the new branch design, and acknowledging Country. This was followed by a moving Welcome to Country delivered by Uncle Colin, a proud sixth-generation Dharug elder from Yarramundi and former chief of the Boorooberongal clan. Our CEO Mark Worthington then addressed the audience, before our Board Chair, Fiona Bennett had the honour of cutting the ribbon and officially declaring the branch open.

It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout from members and staff, coming together to mark this exciting milestone. After weeks of planning and hard work, we’re delighted to now offer our members a modern, comfortable, and welcoming banking experience.

This new branch also reflects our renewed commitment to Penrith and the wider Western Sydney community, with accessibility at the forefront of its design.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our members for your patience and support throughout this relocation. We’re excited to welcome you to our new branch and look forward to seeing you soon.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for choosing us as your trusted banking partner.
