On becoming a member of our bank, you're not just a customer, you're an owner!
Australian Mutual Bank proudly launched its Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in November 2025 - a significant step forward in our ongoing reconciliation journey. Building on the foundations laid by our first Reflect RAP in 2023, the Innovate RAP deepens our commitment to strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and embedding cultural learning throughout our organisation.
Our Innovate RAP demonstrates our dedication to listening, learning, and collaborating in ways that honour the histories, cultures, and contributions of Australia’s First Nations peoples. By acknowledging the past and engaging respectfully in the present, we can work together toward a future that is more inclusive, equitable, and grounded in truth-telling.
True reconciliation requires sustained effort, and the Innovate RAP outlines practical steps to drive continued progress both within Australian Mutual Bank and across the communities we serve.
Guided by the four pillars - Relationships, Respect, Opportunities, and Governance - our Innovate RAP sets out measurable commitments that support deeper partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, build cultural capability across our organisation, expand employment and supplier opportunities, and strengthen accountability through transparent reporting.
At Australian Mutual Bank, we believe reconciliation is a shared responsibility. We invite our members, partners, and community to walk alongside us as we continue this vital work. Together, we can help build a society that respects, celebrates, and uplifts the diverse cultures and voices of all Australians. Explore our Innovate RAP to learn more about our commitments and how you can contribute to positive change.
